TECH SPEC
The Overture makes skating better. Find out how.
LEATHER OUTER
Specially treated leather made to European standards (EN ISO 20345) makes Overture waterproof, more hygienic and easier to clean.
THERMOFORMABLE SUPPORT
The lightweight tri-layer construction is stronger for better support. It provides better cushioning through a superior elastic memory. It is also thermoformable allowing skilled technicians to create an instant custom fit for your Overture boots.
MEMORY FOAM
High density memory foam gives greater comfort. You get more control and feel as the memory foam allows for micro movements while giving support. The foam maintains its shape to give you the perfect fit every time.
SH MICROFIBER LINING
SH microfiber is a combination of natural and synthetic fibers with the strength of leather but at one third of the weight. It is less prone to wear due to the close weave of the material.
High tech design with a traditional finish.
RESPONSIVE FOOTBED FOR CONTROL
Greater control comes from the innovative honeycomb footbed which also makes Chorus lighter and stronger. Reduced response time allows for quicker transitions and smoother skating, allowing you to develop skills more quickly.
THINNER SOLE FOR FEELING
The thinner sole is waterproof, the center of gravity is lower improving the balance and feel, leaving you free to skate the edges.
LONGER ARCH FOR MORE CONTROL
Inspired by Roman aqueducts, a longer heel arch distributes forces over a longer axis to give the skater more control and a better feel.
HOOKS FOR LACING
To improve hold and make lacing easier, the galvanized carbon steel hooks have been lowered, lengthened and repositioned. Increasing the movement range and wrapping the ankles.
Innovation, Italian style, and modern craftmanship is the essence of Edea and is part of every skate they make.
THE FAMILY HISTORY
Skating is the family legacy, uniting the generations. Their grandfather started in his workshop making tailor-made shoes for the local residents and he garnered a reputation for making quality shoes. The next generation of the family was able to build on this excellence and created a successful skate company. It was only natural that the third generation would want to continue the search for the perfect skate.
Infused with the family passion, Sabrina started her own company with its unique philosophy in search of skating perfection. After two years of intensive research and development and thanks to the support of her family and her team of experts, the first Edea boots were released on February 2, 2002.
THE FUTURE
Skaters are always moving, pushing the art of what is possible. Each skater’s spins, twizzles and jumps are research, development, and testing for Edea. New materials, technology and thinking means the impossible is just an idea away. Their constant search for perfection means they stay ahead of the ordinary. At Edea they concentrate on the future so skaters can focus on performance. Edea wants your dreams to become a reality.
